I am passionate about health care and health industry; I would like to use this blog as mean to share my thoughts as well as some of my readings. I am trying to build my expertise on health economics and health informatics, with an emphasis on public health. Currently, I am the Project Director at the Department of Health Management and Informatics at University of Missouri-Columbia, from which I graduated with a dual Master degree in Health Administration and Health Informatics. Prior, I had a Master degree in Agricultural Resource Economics from University of Connecticut, where I worked extensively at investigating retailers efficiency and the impact of diversification on their financial performance.
I invite anyone who is interested in any of my post to email me and share with me their thoughts and recommendations, and as well their though regarding health care systems, and in particular in the U.S.A. I am really amazed about the complexity of the US. health care and how we as individuals we can make a difference in every single moment of our life, by changing our behavior rather than waiting for the system to change.
